Hi to all,

Could anybothy tell me please why I don't see Rx/Tx counter changing while I issuing ping requests from my Windos PC to Linux station with configured at least two VLANS, eth0.4 and eth0.5. I have the following configuration for my LAN/VLAN interfaces:

~ # cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0.4
# Possible values here: DEVICE, IPADDR, NETMASK, MTU, MACADDR
DEVICE=eth0.4
IPADDR=172.30.3.4
NETMASK=255.255.0.0
VLAN=yes

~ # cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0.5
# Possible values here: DEVICE, IPADDR, NETMASK, MTU, MACADDR
DEVICE=ifcfg-eth0.5
IPADDR=172.30.4.5
NETMASK=255.255.0.0
VLAN=yes

~ # ifconfig

While I changing netmasks I got some Tx statistics for VLAN interfaces.
What is wrong I am doing?
Thanks.

Sincerely,
Arthur.
