PPPoE over vlan interface problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi~

I created 2 vlan interface on my pc:eth2.2 & eth2.3
I also created 2 vlan tag(2 & 3) on vlan switch...
I have 2 ISP links:Tag2=A_Net & Tag3=B_Net connected on switch;My OS is Fedora 5
Topology:PC=>Switch=>ISP's Modem

When I use dhcp client software to get eth2.2 and eth2.3's IP,I can get them correctly.
But If I ask ISP to change the links become PPPoE...I always get error message...

* The following section is a dump of the packets
* sent and received by rp-pppoe. If you don't see
* any output, it's an Ethernet driver problem. If you only
* see three PADI packets and nothing else, check your cables
* and modem. Make sure the modem lights flash when you try
* to connect. Check that your Ethernet card is in
* half-duplex, 10Mb/s mode. If all else fails,
* try using pppoe-sniff.
