Hello, i?m new to vlans on linux. I?d like to ask whether it is necessary to have NIC with native support of dot1q encapsulation to make vlans work on linux or is enough to compile kernel with dot1q support and install vconfig. I have all necessities installed. Vconfig seems to work fine but i?m not able to make vlans work. thanks for any help
