[VLAN] Trunking on linux interface

Hi,

I have a Linux (2.4.18) which serves as my firewall, gateway, dhcp server with two interfaces eth1 -- external facing to the Internet and eth0 which serves my internal network. I have setup my internal network with tagged vlans (802.1q) and am trying to setup the eth0 on the linux system as a trunk port that can see traffic from all vlans. Can anyone tell me if linux interface can be setup as a trunk port that can see traffic from all tagged vlans (approximately 75 unique vlan ids)? I know one way to do it to configure eth0.1 thru eth0.75 on the linux system but running firewall on all those vlan interfaces could be too resource consumptive.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
