gives a few pointers. The /etc/ location of the "best" answer does not apply 
to you as you did a fresh install. On my system, I have no ~/.gconf but I 
found virt-manager stuff in dconf. If you have no other app using dconf you it 
should work to simply delete ~/.config/dconf/user.
