You will need to use same other tools to parse the output:

virsh --connect qemu:///system domstate UbuntuMATE1804

Is there any way to get these little details just perfect?

1) If I shutdown the virtual machine, the graphical console automatically closes itself.

2) If I close the graphical console, the virtual machine "inside" is automatically shut down.

I am not running any server, I am just experimenting with virtual machines on my desktop PC. I almost got it as comfortable as VirtualBox. 8-)
