I'm using virt-manager on Fedora 23. When I start it I get an 'Authentication Required' prompt and have to enter a password. If I shut it down and restart it I'm prompted again. Fair enough. I also have a connection to a remote host with a qemu+ssh:// URI. When I activate this connection I'm prompted for the passphrase for my ssh key. Again, fair enough. However, if I shut down and restart virt-manager then reactivate the remote connection I'm not prompted for the passphrase. I don't have an ssh-agent. What is remembering my credentials? And how do I stop it from doing that?
