Windows STOP 0x0000005D

Greetings,

I installed 64 bit Windows 7 on my 64 bit I7 box.  The install went fine (to a virtual disk), but after the install, the system won't boot.  I keep getting:

STOP 0x0000005D

I spent the entire day trying to get past it but can not.  I see others with the same problem all over the net.

I am using 64 bit LinuxMint 17.1 on a brand new Dell machine with a quad processor I7 - so everything is very current.  I told the tools I was installing 64 bit Windows 7.  I don't kow what else to do.

Sure would appreciate some help.

Blake McBride
