Hello Cole, Thanks for your quick response. Its was Ubuntu distro.
Installing "sudo apt-get install gir1.2-vte-2.90" package did help. Thanks a lot, i was struggling with this for a day :).
Now i am able to see the port-group when i add a new network interface.
Thanks,
Mani

What distro is this? You might need to install a vte \*typelib package if you're on debian/ubuntuOn 12/03/2014 12:28 PM, Mani Devarajan wrote:
Hello all,
I need to move to virt-manager 1.1.0 as i need port-group support for
virt-install command. But after moving to 1.1.0, i am unable to open the
console of virtual machine as it fails with following error "Error launching
details: cannot import name Vte".
I do have python-vte installed. Any suggestions on how to overcome this error.
