That said, I do think our current icon is really awful and would welcome a replacement. My concern with Ian's suggested icon is that I thought it refered to GNOME Boxes, so while I applaud your effort, I don't think we could go with that. I think perhaps we could do with a logo that is completely abstract, and distinctive, and not attempt to relate it to a messy computer/virt concept directly.
