I agree.

I think, it is evident not confuse plugin-networking with client/server 
networking. OK, currently the client/server support works only through 
plugins, as there is no vdr-frontend - but Klaus should not care about plugin-
networking on designing client/server functionality.

C/S-communication should be completely private to vdr - just like internal 
communication. Plugins may keep on doing their networking, i.e. to connect 
other frontends like xine or whatever - but that's not the internal 
communication, vdr relies on.
