Not from within core VDR. If you want to transfer or post-process video files >2G, you should make sure that everything in the processing pipeline can handle large files. However, you can always split a recording later by changing the file size and do another editing run within VDR. The only exception for VDR is the use of the hard link cutter patch: This patch depends on recordings to be in many small files, to gain speed on editing.
