it's a 1440x1080 (interlaced) camcorder-ts (packed in a m2ts/avchd container) file.
you can get a simple 2min sample on: http://private.urban-online.at/users/fluss/20090818193013.m2ts

user: fluss
pass: pferd

a user on vdr-portal adviced me to use "MediaInfo" to look inside the container - here is it's output from a sample of the camcorder:

no, no chance - i changed the value of this parameter as showed above.

just to mention - directly under X i can start the sample and it's playing more or less (interlacing-steps, ..) ok.

ffmpeg is: svn from 20090818
mplayer is: r29540 svn from 20090819

mplayer.sh.conf looks like this:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
MPLAYER="/usr/bin/mplayer"
VOP="lavc=9000"
VO="vdpau"
AO="alsa"
XResPAL=(352 480 528 544 704 720 1280)
XResNTSC=(352 480 512 544 640 704 720 1280)
PAL="true"
NTSC="true"
AC3AOUT="-ac hwac3"
TV_ASPECT="16/9"
MPLAYER_V1="true"
CACHE="8192"
USERDEF="-vc ffh264vdpau,ffmpeg12vdpau,ffvc1vdpau,ffwmv3vdpau"
DEBUG="true"
------------------------------------------------------------------------

output: TV/LCD is connected via "nvidia/vdpau/720p"

thanks, ciax
