Hi, In ubuntu you have to rungrep /var/log/syslogandgrep /var/log/messages Another way to monitor what happening in your system is to open separate new terminal and run tail -f /var/log/syslog , and in the previuos terminal start vdr with /etc/init.d/vdr restart. Now you can see what is wrong with your vdr configuration. Good luck, Yarema martinez@xxxxxxx написав(ла):> Hi Klaus,> > /var/log/vdr.log doesn´t contain any info regarding problems with channel> s.conf> I start vdr with -l 3> > dmesg |grep vdr> shows nothing> _______________________________________________vdr mailing listvdr@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
