If I recall correctly it was based on freevo-vdr-0.5.
I copy the 2 files in
/usr/local/stow/freevo-1.x/lib/python2.5/site-packages/freevo/plugins/
and I use this in my local_conf.py:

It's a bit hackish, I haven't taken the time make it clearer and cleaner.
