Are you sure you are using an unpatched vdr? (Sorry, could not resist ;-) ) I do have void cSkinClassicDisplayMessage::SetMessage(eMessageType Type, const char *Text) but this plugin does not use skins at all for its player osd. Just cOsdProvider::NewOsd().
