I found a patch for at least some ATSC cards. Not sure about which work and which don't: http://fepg.freehostia.com/ There is also a ATSCEPG plugin needed for EPG. This information was posted at: http://dvbn.happysat.org/viewtopic.php?t=44680&start=15 I'm mainly interrested in cards with at least dual ATSC tuning. 1 or more of the devices out there use the LG tuning chip which is suposed to by far the best. There is also a networked tuner that looks interresting which is supported by MythTV. Don't know what chip set it has or if it can work with VDR. Tuners I've been looking at: http://www.pchdtv.com/ Seems to be designed for use with linux and uses the LG chip but is only a single tuner. http://www.bbti.us/products_airstar_hd5000_pci.htm http://www.vboxcomm.com/product3.htm#4 Cat's Eye 164e dual tuner but chip set unknown. http://techluver.com/2008/01/07/hauppauge-intros-wintv-hvr-2250-1950-950q-and-1250/ The did a nice job wit hthe Nexus. The 2250 is a brand new dual tuner card. Not much info on their site yet. Reported to be the final version to the PCV530 ref design which did use LG chips, but not in the tuner. http://www.silicondust.com/wiki/products/hdhomerun Connects via LAN, Dual tuner, chipset unknown. Known to work with MythTV, but VDR unknown. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steffen Barszus" <st_barszus@xxxxxx> To: "VDR Mailing List" <vdr@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, February 23, 2008 10:15 AM Subject: Re: ATSC > Timothy D.
