For who knows french, there is an interresting thread about udev on the dvbkivabien forum. I did use it to have my nexus always as primary device http://dvbkivabien2.info/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=11255 Serge -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: vdr-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vdr-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx] Namens Udo Richter Verzonden: dinsdag 5 februari 2008 22:52 Aan: VDR Mailing List Onderwerp: Re: DVB-T card on the move Theunis Potgieter wrote: > udev rules Any good rules that could be used as a starting point? I thought of doing this with udev, but there are some obstacles for that: First, a DVB device has several device files, not just one. And second, the usual trick to add a custom name as symlink doesn't work since VDR only accepts /dev/dvb/adapterX/, so /dev/dvb/myprimarycard/ is out.
