Same here. I'm happy with the full-Debian setup.I will also convert my first VDR system from disk-based to diskless (it already stores recordings on the NFS share). The second diskless system is good enough.
The little EPIA EK8000 running as the server is good enough to serve multiple NFS clients + diskless boots + my 2 VDRs (2 recordings + 2 replaying at the same time, from both VDRs).
