I recently obtained a EMP-Centauri S170-CP-16 switch that does 16in by 16out. I attached the two LNC of each LNB to the switch. So the way it should work according the docs is: LNC 1-4 are Diseqc port 0 LNC 5-8 are Diseqc port 1 LNC 9-12 are Diseqc port 2 LNC 12-16 are Diseqc port 3 The switch automatically sends 13v and 18v alternating on the LNC to the LNBs. Finally I need to use Tone to switch between the two LNBs on any Diseqc port. LNB 1 - Diseqc 0 and no tone LNB 2 - Diseqc 0 and 22mhz tone LNB 3 - Diseqc 1 and no tone LNB 4 - Diseqc 1 and 22mhz tone LNB 5 - Diseqc 2 and no tone LNB 6 - Diseqc 2 and 22mhz tone LNB 7 - Diseqc 3 and no tone LNB 8 - Diseqc 3 and 22mhz tone I use 5 legacy circular LNB and one Universal linear LNB. I tried many variations of diseqc.conf without luck. Did anyone have any luck getting VDR to control such a switch? Or can someone suggest a syntax for the Diseqc commands Thanks -----Original Message----- From: vdr-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vdr-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gregoire Favre Sent: Monday, January 29, 2007 6:44 PM To: VDR Mailing List Subject: Re: Safer diseqc setup ?
