Thanks, that works fine what I'm doing is: 1) get some clip from the internet 2) transcode to mpeg2 3) use project x to get it into vdr format 4) copy resultant directory to the recordings directory on the vdr machine I had to do the transcode on another machine anyway in order to output through my dxr3 card.
