VDR does not save channels.conf

Since 1.3.13, VDR saves the channels.conf on manual user editing, or 
every 10 minutes in case of automatic channel updates. So maybe you 
simply did not wait long enough?

If it really does not save, even after manual channel editing, check the 
  syslog for error messages. For example, there may be access rights 
problems on saving the file.
