Best .vdr editing/recoding method (is avidemux2 ok?)

I suggest getting projectx and running the files though that _first_ to 
get rid of any errors in the stream which can and probably will cause 
sound sync issues in long recordings. After this you can mplex the audio 
and video and do what you will to it in avidemux.
