Streamdev streaming to quicktime?

Hi,

I've been thinking that I'd like to have a "VDR web portal" that's
sort of easier to use vdradmin combined with live TV stream viewable
with quicktime-plugin on the browser. The web portal could be produced
maybe with Plone.

I wonder if it would be hard to stream VDR into quicktime using
streamdev, probably as MPEG2?
