I just disconnected the sat cable from my VDR and got Apr 22 13:55:55 video vdr: [4875] frontend 0 lost lock on channel 2, tp 212480 Apr 22 13:55:57 video vdr: [4875] frontend 0 timed out while tuning to channel 2, tp 212480 but the tuning thread didn't use any excessive CPU power. Actually it was at 0.0% before and after the disconnect. So I'm afraid I don't know what the problem is on your machine. Klaus
