Latency using vdr-xine

Have you tried xineliboutput plugin with xine ?
At least for me (DVB-C), it has channel switching time < 1 sec and seek
time < .25 sec (if I can even measure that).
Even with network, channel switching is almost same ; just seeks 
are ~.5 sec.
