Not because of VDR, but because of the cards themselves and the kernel driver quality. E.g. a Hauppauge / Technotrend card is a good choice, IMO (besides that you need latest CVS dvb kernel drivers for the Nova Plus cards at the moment). Kind regards, Stefan
