An alternative to VIA could be the miniPC2 based on AMD Geode:

I have seen this nice little box on the last MGLUG-meeting
(www.mglug.de).
It takes only about 10 watts and has no fan!
It has no DVI-port, but the VGA-signal is extremly good.
