ffmpeg version ?
gcc version ?

Please change in video.c (around line 373) the syslog message to:

//    dsyslog("[VideoOut]: aspect changed (%d -> %d ; %f -> %f)",
    dsyslog("[VideoOut]: aspect changed (%d -> %d ; %llx -> %llx)",

So lets see whats is reported now.

Can you provide a short sample stream ?
