Automatically change the channel at a certain time?

Is this possible?

With vdr 1.3.27 I'd often set a one-minute timer simply to change the TV
channel in case I forget to see a certain programme (it's a live competition,
so there's no point in actually recording it).. however vdr 1.3.30 is
'clever' enough to realise that the programme I selected is actually set to
the wrong times, correct it, and hence start recording immediately and change
the channel...

modified (active)

Aug 25 13:41:03 telly vdr[5515]: timer 2 (105 1258-1405 'BrainTeaser') start

Is there a 'reminder' plugin, or some way of turning this 'intelligence' off?

Cheers,
Gavin.
