[ANNOUNCE] vdr-iaxphone-0.0.2 - a softphone for vdr

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm releasing a new version of a softphone plugin for vdr
(http://www.cadsoft.de/vdr).
This plugin is available at http://club.telepolis.com/l.o/vdr/

  From the README file:

This plugin is a very simple (read: not very featureful and hopefully
with an high WAF ;-) softphone using the iax protocol (asterisk server).
It uses the iaxclient library (http://iaxclient.sourceforge.net) to
handle every details of the call, so the plugin is just an user interface.
It needs a free (i.e that isn't used by something else, like a softdevice
plugin), full-duplex sound card.

CHANGES:

- Better (hopefully) parsing of the called number, now it is possible to
specify the host, username and password for each entry in the phonebook,
so it is also possible to directly call another iax phone
- Added ringback tone when the called phone is ringing
- Now the phone rings only for incoming calls (duh)
- The ring command now uses the script "iaxphone-ring.sh"
- It should be possible to send dtmf tones during a call
- Yellow and Blue keys to enter '*' and '#'
- Added settings for caller id
- Show text events on the osd (though they're impossible to localize since
they come straight from the iaxclient library)
