mp3/mplayer plugin with xineplayer

Martin Wache developped a softplay plugin to work with the softdevice
plugin. This plugin is an replacement for mp3/mplayer plugins in a
soft-device context. I wonder if that softplay plugin would work with
vdr-xine... making the whole xineplayer stuff more simpler...
