At first do a:

dd if=/dev/dvd of=/pub/export/nameofthedvd.iso

The next step is to use the dvd-select plugin

Hi,
i prefere "vobcopy" to get the vob`s to hd.
In that way, it`s also possible to get the content of a css protected
dvd to the disk. Dvd-select is able to handle both. Iso`s and file
structure as VIDEO_TS
