Odd error, no free slot for PID

Thats what I did, all recording were on DVB-T cards.
The NEXUS-S is there just to connect the TVset and
as Primary Card.  There is not even dish connected,
will be later when I move the box to livingroom.
Where are the pid slots defined ?
Drivers ? Firmware ?
