I guess htat he is using the bitstreamout plugin to get the Sony
at work.  And also, due to the fact that it has worked with
previous versions and the assumption that the soundcard has not
changed, it could be possible that the bitstreamout plugin does
not get any data from the DVD plugin via the VDR player/device
interface.
