[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

there's a new release of the epgsearch plugin.

You can find it here:

http://people.freenet.de/cwieninger/html/vdr-epg-search__english_.html

wget: http://people.freenet.de/cwieninger/vdr-epgsearch-0.0.8.tgz

What's new?

2005-02-16: Version 0.0.8
- added support for VPS in search timers
- channels of search timers are now stored with ID rather than number
(avoids editing your searches after channel modifications, you have to change any
searchtimer to activate the new storing)
- corrections in the english version, thanks to Darren Salt
- fixed a bug in criterion duration
- fixed channel selection when shifting displayed time, thanks to
Ronny Kornexl
- put some space between progressbar and event info (TtV*) for text2skin 1.0
- fixed compilaton problems in vdr-1.3.10
- switch display in search results to 'episode name only' with key
yellow
- fixed width of start time, when displaying channel number, thanks to
Gerhard Steiner

What is it about?

EPG-Search can be used as a replacement for the default schedules
menu entry. It looks like the standard schedules menu, but adds some
additional functions:
- Commands for epg entries with 5 builtin commands like 'show
repeatings', 'create search'. One can add own commands for other
needs, like adding a VDRAdmin autotimer.
- Add up to 4 userdefined times to 'now' and 'next'
- Searching the epg: Create reusable queries, which can also be used
as 'search timers'.
- Search timers: Search for broadcastings in the background and add a
timer, if one matches (similar to VDRAdmins autotimers)
- Progressbar in 'What's on now'
- Shift the time displayed by keypress, e.g. 'What's on now' + 30 minutes
- Start menu can be setup between 'Schedule' or 'What's on now'

Works only for vdr-1.3.x (x>=7). Tested on 1.3.10 to 1.3.21.
Parts of the sources are based on the repeating-epg-patch
from Gerhard Steiner, who gave me the permission to use them
(thanks for his work!).

Best regards,

Christian
