Besides, people who want a Solaris portable libuuid can always get the copy from the e2fsprogs libs-subset distribution. :-P Seriously, it really isn't hard to login to a Solaris box and check for portability.... unfortunately in the past 30 years we've gone from "all of the world's a Vax", to "all the world's SunOS", to "all the world's Linux on x86".
