"flock" usage: how to wrap one lock around two commands?

I think that the "flock" command is maintained via this list, which is
why I'm posting this "flock" usage question - if there's a more
appropriate forum, please excuse me (and please point me at it)

The flock usage and manpage describe how it can be used to wrap one lock
around the execution of one command - can it be used to wrap one lock
around the execution of two commands?

e.g. I currently run,

batch <<job
svn pdel --revprop -r 0 svn:sync-lock https://qubit-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn
svnsync sync https://qubit-toolkit.googlecode.com/svn
job

How can I use "flock" to wrap one lock around both "svn pdel" and "svnsync"?
