This Friday (or next Monday) I'd like to release rc1 -- it also means "feature freeze" for all code. The rc1 and all next releases will be announced at linux-kernel, linux-fsdevel and util-linux-ng mailing lists. My patches queue: - add an enable/disable configure.am option for programs like kill, arch, ... - Kay's encoded labels - setting default geometry values for sfdisk - add BLKFRASET/GET to the blockdev command - merge setarch - Matthias's loop changes - add Mac labels support to fdisks The last thing is broken (and incomplete) cryptoapi stuff in losetup/mount. We can: 1/ ignore this problem, because cryptoapi is deprecated 2/ fix this problem, because cryptoapi is still supported by kernel Suggestions? It seems that Debian has useful patch for cryptoapi in losetup.
