 It will be possible to use libbklid *OR* libvolumeid. For example Suse
 uses mount+volumeid, RHEL/FC uses mount+libblkid.

 The mount+libblkid (= mount(8) linked against libblkid from
 e2fsprogs) is independent on udev and I think (I didn't test it) you
 can use it on non-2.6 systems.

 (Hehe.. 2.6ism, nice argument why blkid is better :-))) although
 that's not so important from my POV.)

 Thanks, it seems like a good idea to test release util-linux-ng
 candidates on 2.4 kernels too.
