Kaibab National Forest offices in Williams resume normal schedules WILLIAMS, Ariz.,
Sept. 3, 2019 —
The Kaibab National Forest Supervisor's Office and the Williams Ranger District office, which are both located in Williams, resumed normal business hour schedules this week. Both offices are open for all general public information services, and the Williams
Ranger District office is issuing permits, maps and passes during normal business hours. The two offices had offered limited public services for about a week in late August due to temporary staffing limitations and required training
of front desk personnel. The Kaibab National Forest Supervisor's Office, which is located at 800 S. 6th Street, is open Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays,
from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. General public information services are available at this location. The Williams Ranger District office, which is located at 742 S. Clover Road, is open Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, from
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. General public information services are available at this location as well as permits, maps and various recreation passes. Permits will only be issued before 4 p.m. due to the time required to process these requests. Kaibab National Forest managers recognize that the limited services last week may have caused inconvenience and appreciated the public's
patience during the brief schedule change. To contact the Kaibab National Forest Supervisor's Office, please call (928) 635-8200. To contact the Williams Ranger District, please call (928) 635-5600.
