Heather Noel, 928-527-3490 Area Closure for Portion of Forest Road 535 Flagstaff, AZ – Logging has begun in the area of Forest Road 535, south of Fay Canyon and east of Highway 89A. For public safety,
the area will be closed until logging is complete (Forest Order 04-94-76R). This area is known as the Tea Cup Timber Sale and was a part of the 2004 Woody Ridge Forest Restoration Project.
Logging trucks will be present on Highway 89A. Visitors should use caution while traveling. Activity will likely continue throughout the month of June as weather permits.
