U.S. Forest Service issues Environmental Assessment for Tongass Sustainable Cabin Management project
The Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Tongass National Forest Sustainable Cabin Management project has been completed. The EA explains the current conditions of the cabins, summarizes public involvement and public input, and explains the Proposed Action as well as other alternatives. A health and safety analysis conducted for this project was completed and is included as an appendix to the EA. The EA and related materials are available online at http://go.usa.gov/WQEk.
