Waterline Trail reopened to non-motorized use, Crews anticipate opening Schultz Pass and Little Elden Springs Roads by Labor Day Weekend
Crews are also working diligently to repair the northern half of Schultz Pass Road (Forest Road 420) and Little Elden Springs Road (FR 556), also damaged by last month’s storms. Forest managers anticipate reopening both roads by Labor Day weekend, possibly sooner. Both roads will be accessible by high-clearance vehicles only.
Lockett Meadow Road and Lockett Meadow campground are open.
Little Elden Springs Horse Camp, Little Bear Trail, Deer Hill Trail, and Little Elden Trail will likely remain closed through the 2013 season. ###
