Forest Service Postpones Prescribed Fire South of Williams
WILLIAMS, Ariz. – Kaibab National Forest fire managers have postponed implementation of the City Southeast Prescribed Fire, which was scheduled to begin tomorrow three miles southeast of Williams.
Due to precipitation and cooler temperatures, conditions are no longer appropriate to conduct the burn. Fire managers will monitor conditions and reschedule the prescribed fire when burn objectives can be met.
