Flagstaff Ranger District fire crews will be burning approximately 250 acres of piles today along Lake Mary Road near Canyon Vista Campground. Smoke will likely be visible from town and may settle in the Mountainaire and Heckethorn areas. With the winds predicted, smoke is expected to disperse well through the night. Fire managers plan to continue burning in this area for the remainder of the week, as conditions allow.
