The field trips are intended to provide interested members of the public with an opportunity to visit proposed 4FRI treatment areas, discuss and visualize how treatments will be implemented, and ask any questions they may have. Field trip dates are Aug. 23, Sept. 6 and Sept. 27. All field trips will leave from the Coconino National Forest Supervisor's Office, 1824 S. Thompson St., Flagstaff. Attendees should arrive by 7:45 a.m. The field trips will be from 8 a.m. to noon. Field trip participants should plan to bring rain gear, sunscreen, drinking water, a hat and sturdy hiking shoes.
