National Weather Service Issues Red Flag Warning
WILLIAMS, Ariz. – A Red Flag warning continues for northern Arizona Monday, June 6. This warning covers the Williams, Tusayan and North Kaibab districts on the Kaibab National Forest. Forest visitors are advised to refrain from having a campfire when Red Flag warnings exist.
Red Flag warnings are generated when strong wind and low relative humidity is predicted causing an increased potential for large fire growth. The advisory will stay in effect until the Red Flag warning ends. The advisory covers all campfires.
