Prescribed fire plans for Wednesday

Flagstaff, AZ – Pending favorable conditions, fire managers are planning prescribed fires on the following projects for Wednesday, November 4.

All prescribed fire activity is dependent on personnel availability, weather – including ventilation conditions, and approval from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (www.azdeq.gov).

Wednesday, November 4
Pete Project – the remaining portion of 1100 total acres for Tuesday and Wednesday located north of the San Francisco Peaks and Forest Road 418, approximately 6 miles east of White Horse Hills.  Smoke will disperse to the northeast.
