WASHINGTON, March 31, 2023 – Today, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will host a press call with White House National Climate Advisor Ali Zaidi to announce significant funding that is being made available by the Biden-Harris Administration to build critical infrastructure that will expand access to clean energy in rural communities across the country. The announcement reflects the goals of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda to rebuild our economy from the middle-out and bottom-up through investments such as the Inflation Reduction Act, which addresses immediate economic needs, lowers energy costs, and makes the nation’s largest-ever investment in combatting the climate crisis.
